Annual meeting panel idea on how people are handling the budget crunches. Northern Tier is having their conference at the same time.

Went over speakers that have confirmed.

Del will ask Jim about using EPSCOR funds. We'll wait until the registration goes live.

We've gotten about 500 responses from the CI Advisory survey. Greg will send a link to the rep council so they can pass the link along to their states.

Rogers is getting ready for connecting up to AREon. Question: how extensive is AREon? Answer: Fiber goes from Tulsa to ______. Another from Dallas to Little Rock. First goal is to get all the four year institutions. Geography was a driving force.

Level 3 POP along highway 40 through Little Rock. There is a level 3 POP in Memphis, too.

South Dakota is waiting to see what the legislature is going to do with budget cuts, which is going to depend on what the Fed does with Medicade. There's some activity before congress where there might be additional Medicade funds for states that haven't balanced their budgets.
